Job summary

TransCore - Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS) in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Material Handler III to perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include receiving goods, cycle counts, pulling material for work orders, operating forklifts, and coordinating with carriers. Must have 5–8 years related experience, valid forklift license preferred, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5-8 years of related experience.
• Valid forklift operator's license preferred or willing to get certification.
• HazMat handling certification preferred or willing to get certification.
• Proficiency in using MS Office software and ERP systems.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming goods into stock, including boxing, labeling, storing, etc.
• Performs cycle inventory counts and investigates count discrepancies as required.
• Pulls material for work orders and material requests for manufacturing and other departments.
• Audit work orders and material returned from Production for accuracy.
• Conduct investigation of inventory discrepancies to help with accuracy and root cause analysis.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Operate sit down and stand up forklifts.
• Coordinate and communicate with Order Admin, carriers and customers to resolve shipment issues.
