Celestica Inc. is seeking a Material Handler 4 to lead a team responsible for the accurate movement and control of inventory. You will receive, ship, count, package, label, and verify materials against orders, while coordinating with buyers to resolve delivery issues.

In this role, you will prepare shipments, manage documentation, and ensure accurate records. You will also supervise material handlers and drive improvements in process and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of relevant experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of material movement.
• Basic math skills and effective communication with internal customers.

Responsabilités

• Provides task leadership and technical expertise to material handlers for inventory movement and control.
• Receives, ships, counts, packages, and labels materials; verifies against POs and packing lists.
• Prepares finished goods and other items for shipment; maintains shipping documentation and labels.
• Schedules pickups and coordinates with freight carriers; posts shipping charges and maintains shipment files.
• Audits transaction accuracy and identifies, documents, and proposes solutions for processing problems.
• Researches customer claims of wrong shipments or missing parts and generates corrective transactions.
