Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, inventory control and shipping/receiving practices.
• Ability to maintain detailed, accurate records of material movement.
• Basic math skills and ability to use PCs and warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Provides task leadership and technical expertise to material handlers in inventory movement and control.
• Performs receiving, shipping, counting, packaging, stock rotation and shelf life determination.
• Prepares shipping documentation, labels, and coordinates pick up with carriers.
• Monitors throughput and accuracy; audits transactions and generates reports as needed.
• Verifies items against POs and packing lists; researches and resolves discrepancies.
• Maintains supplies and ensures proper identification and handling of materials.
