Job summary

Moog is hiring a Senior Material Handler for our Salt Lake City, UT facility. This on-site role operates on a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off, and requires at least 3 years in manufacturing.

You will manage material storage, shipping/receiving tasks, and inventory control while contributing to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel/Data Entry skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) and data entry.
• ERP experience is a plus but not required.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support storage and movement of materials and finished goods.
• Assist shipping, receiving and warehouse tasks.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Process material workflows and records management.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.

Job Title: Senior Material Handler. Reporting To: Supervisor, Materials. Work Schedule: Onsite – Salt Lake City, UT.

This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off! (Formal schedule is Mon – Thurs, 7:00am – 4:00pm, every other Fri 7:00am – 3:00pm)

To be considered for a Sr. Material Handler role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• HS diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Technical skills to include knowledge/use of Microsoft Office suite (including Excel) and Data Entry
• Experience working with ERP systems is a plus but not a requirement
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs

It would be great if you also had:

• Shipping and receiving experience
• Ability to operator a forklift (We Will provide Training/Certification)
• Working in a team environment
• 5S and/or Lean Manufacturing Experience

As a Sr. Material Handler, you will make a critical impact by holding responsibility for the following:

• Support the storage and movement of raw materials, supplies, parts/components and finished goods within the facility
• Support shipping, receiving and warehouse related activities
• Execute inventory control processes to include cycle counts, variance reconciliation and ensuring optimal inventory levels
• Process and submit material related workflows, documentation and records management
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process

Salary Range Transparency: Salt Lake City, UT $23.00–$26.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
