Job summary

Moog Inc in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a Senior Material Handler to join our on-site team. You will support the storage, movement, and handling of materials, parts, and finished goods, while assisting shipping/receiving and warehouse tasks in a collaborative, 9/80 schedule environment with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities include inventory control, cycle counts, and documentation, with emphasis on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and data entry.
• ERP experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the storage and movement of raw materials, supplies, parts/components and finished goods within the facility.
• Support shipping, receiving and warehouse related activities.
• Execute inventory control processes including cycle counts, variance reconciliation and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
• Process and submit material related workflows, documentation and records management.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

Job Title: Senior Material Handler

Reporting To: Supervisor, Materials

Work Schedule: Onsite – Salt Lake City, UT

This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off! (Formal schedule is Mon – Thurs, 7:00am – 4:00pm, every other Fri 7:00am – 3:00pm)

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Technical skills to include knowledge/use of Microsoft Office suite (including Excel) and Data Entry
• Experience working with ERP systems is a plus but not a requirement
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs

Preferred Skills

• Shipping and receiving experience
• Ability to operator a forklift (We Will provide Training/Certification)
• Working in a team environment
• 5S and/or Lean Manufacturing Experience

Salary Range Transparency: Salt Lake City, UT $23.00–$26.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
