Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Material Handler in Foley, AL to support assembly operations by managing material flow and delivering kits to production lines. The role uses vertical lift modules and ERP tools to receive, verify, and store components, while performing SAP goods movements.

The position runs on 1st shift, with responsibilities including cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and collaboration with Production Control, Quality, and Engineering to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Inventory management and ERP experience required.
• APICS CPIM training or certification preferred; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage material flow by performing kitting, inventory retrieval, and timely delivery of components to production areas.
• Receive, verify, and store parts in controlled stockroom locations using automated vertical lift systems and ERP tools.
• Perform SAP goods-movement transactions and issue parts to work orders.
• Monitor production schedules, rates, and material needs.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies using ERP.
