Job summary

Fabletics in El Segundo is seeking a Sr. Manager, Material Development to lead the materials strategy from concept to bulk production.

You will own end-to-end roadmaps, define the materials aesthetic across knits, wovens and performance fabrics, and partner with Design, Production, Merchandising, and Sourcing to hit cost and delivery targets. You will manage a fabric team, build scalable workflows and SOPs, and drive innovation including AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fabric development experience across lifestyle and performance fabrics.
• 3+ years managing a material development team.
• Deep technical expertise in knit and/or woven constructions, fibers, finishes, and printing.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end material development roadmap from concept to bulk production approval.
• Define and elevate Fabletics materials aesthetic across knits, wovens, and performance fabrics.
• Lead mill and vendor partnerships globally; negotiate pricing and lead times; ensure quality meets standards.
• Translate design intent into manufacturable material solutions; embed milestones into the product calendar.
• Build and sustain strong cross-functional partnerships with Design, Production, Merchandising, Sourcing.
