Job summary

Bloom Energy in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a Senior Material Coordinator to manage material flow from warehouse through pre‑assembly to final assembly. You will monitor inventory, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and maintain ERP/MRP records.

The role requires 5+ years in materials management, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to optimize inventory and reduce costs. This is an on‑site, five‑day office position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material flow from warehouse to pre-assembly and final assembly.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Review demand, forecasts, and production schedules to identify shortages/overages.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve issues.
• Track and expedite critical materials and deliveries as directed by Production Control.
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP inventory records.
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Analyze inventory trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Investigate material discrepancies, damaged goods, and supplier issues.
• Develop reports and metrics on inventory accuracy and performance.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Lead continuous improvement in inventory and material flow.

We are looking for a Senior Material Coordinator to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Senior Manager of Operations based in Newark, Delaware. This is a fully on‑site, 5 days in office role.

Role And Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of materials from warehouse to pre‑assembly factory before routing to final assembly factories and/or preparing Customer Shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet operational requirements.
• Review material demand, forecasts, and production schedules to identify shortages and excess inventory.
• Work closely with Procurement, Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to resolve material issues and resolve material constraint bottlenecks.
• Track and expedite critical materials and deliveries defined by Production Control and Business Operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/MRP systems.
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
• Analyze inventory trends and recommend actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs and cycle times.
• Investigate and resolve material discrepancies, damaged goods, and supplier issues.
• Develop reports and metrics related to inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational performance.
• Train, mentor, and support junior material coordinators and material handling personnel.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management and material flow processes.

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical, automotive, or industrial environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
