Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers seeks a Master Technician to serve as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and service procedures. The technician provides technical leadership and guidance to the service department to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of automotive repair experience, a Master Technician certification, and ASE certifications. A valid driver's license is required, and the role supports a fast-paced shop environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
• Certified Master Technician with advanced knowledge and diagnostics.
• ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering, Brakes, HVAC, Engine Repair, Electrical/Electronic Systems, and more.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards and customer expectations.
• Lead and mentor service department team members.
• Assist location managers with daily operations, pricing, parts requisition, and shop organization.
• Perform advanced diagnostic work on systems including emission control, ABS, ignition, A/C, transmissions, and drivability.
