Job summary

DOBBS TIRE & AUTO CENTERS is seeking a Master Technician to provide expert diagnostics, vehicle repair, and leadership within the service department. The role requires advanced knowledge and experience to deliver high-quality work and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will mentor junior technicians, work with management on daily shop activities, and uphold safety standards while using diagnostic equipment and repair tools to support exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
• Certified Master Technician with advanced knowledge in diagnostic work and repairs.
• ASE Certifications in multiple areas including suspension, brakes, HVAC, electrical/electronic systems, and engine performance.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Lead and mentor service department team members.
• Assist location managers with daily operations and shop organization.
• Perform duties of other technician roles as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE at all times.
• Operate diagnostic tools including scan tools and DSO.
• Provide support to the team to ensure excellent service.
