Job summary

Iridium Communications Inc seeks a Senior Master Scheduler & Planner to support a complex multi-phased U.S. Government contract. You will develop WBS, IMP, IMS and coordinate Agile roadmaps with technical teams to align milestones and dependencies.

This role requires an active Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one) and 10+ years of direct scheduling experience, including 5+ years in defense. Expect up to 15% travel and a hybrid in-office work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant scheduling experience, preferably within Aerospace or Telecommunications.
• Expertise with Microsoft Project and add-ons like OnePager Pro, SSI Tools, and audit software.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop WBS, IMP, and IMS.
• Collaborate with technical teams to refine Agile roadmaps and milestones.
• Ensure alignment between Jira QBD and IMS with traceability.
• Support Program Increment (PI) Planning with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, CAMs, and Technical Leads.
• Develop proposal planning artifacts for RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead cross-functional tasks, define durations and resources.
• Perform DCMA 14-point assessments and Monte Carlo risk analysis.
• Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments and analyze variances.
• Provide schedule impact recommendations and mentor juniors.
