Job summary

Encore Fire Protection seeks a Master Plumber to inspect, test, and service fire sprinkler systems across locations. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards while coordinating with clients and teams on-site.

The role emphasizes field-based work, safety, and clear communication with customers. A Maryland Master Plumber license and willingness to travel within the territory are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Master Plumber License in Maryland.
• High school diploma or GED with technical/industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and system drawings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with customers and teams.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.
• Experience operating lifts and OSHA safety practices.
• Professional, team-oriented mindset focused on safety and accuracy.
• 8–10+ years of plumbing experience with lead/supervisory exposure.
• NICET certification in water-based systems inspection, testing, or layout.

Responsibilities

• Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify code violations and recommend upgrades.
• Coordinate with contractors, maintenance staff, and internal teams to schedule service calls.
• Document findings, recommendations, and repairs per NFPA standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain professional conduct on site.
