Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Licensed Master Plumber for senior leadership on commercial and industrial construction projects in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on safe, efficient installations, code compliance, and mentoring field teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 7–10+ years of experience, advanced piping knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple trades on active job sites. This is a field-based, full-time position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Master Plumber License required.
• 7–10+ years of commercial plumbing construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial plumbing systems.
• Advanced blueprint reading and piping layout skills.
• Experience with domestic water, DWV, gas, and hydronic piping systems.
• Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing installation activities across multiple commercial projects.
• Provide technical direction to foremen, journeymen, and apprentices.
• Coordinate plumbing installations with HVAC and other trades.
• Support workforce planning, crew assignments, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot complex installation challenges and provide solutions.
• Mentor apprentices and junior plumbers.
