Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a seasoned Production & Capacity Planning leader to drive master production scheduling across multiple manufacturing sites. You translate demand forecasts into executable plans and lead S&OP processes to align supply with business goals.

Responsibilities include optimizing inventory, maintaining capacity plans, and ensuring ERP/MRP data integrity while collaborating with procurement and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing planning or operations planning experience.
• 3+ years in Master Planning, Production Planning, or leadership roles.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Advanced ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MAPICS, MACPAC, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting S&OP and S&OE processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools experience.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of enterprise master production schedules across multiple sites.
• Translate forecasts, orders, inventories, and capacity into executable plans.
• Maintain rolling production plans to optimize capacity, labor, and inventory.
• Manage finite and rough-cut capacity planning to identify bottlenecks and mitigation.
• Ensure level-loaded schedules supporting commitments and stability.
• Facilitate monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE processes.
• Align demand, supply, inventory, and capacity with business goals.
• Provide scenario analysis and recommendations for executive decisions.
• Drive inventory policy, safety stock, and replenishment strategies.
• Lead PFEP strategy and collaborate with procurement to improve material availability.
• Drive ERP/MRP analytics and ensure data integrity for planning data.
