Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Senior Master Diesel Technician to join our elite service team. This individual will be responsible for performing high-level diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance specifically on Ford diesel trucks and commercial fleet vehicles. You’ll play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering precise, efficient, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Perform expert-level diagnostics and repairs on Ford Power Stroke diesel engines and systems, including fuel systems, emissions, drivetrains, and electrical components.

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for less experienced technicians; assist in troubleshooting complex issues and recommending solutions.

  • OEM Compliance: Execute all work according to Ford factory guidelines and technical specifications; maintain up-to-date certifications and training through Ford STARS and OEM programs.

  • Customer Communication: Provide accurate explanations of repair processes to service advisors and, when necessary, directly to customers, ensuring transparency and trust.

  • Documentation: Complete thorough documentation of services performed, including parts used, time spent, and recommended follow-up services.

  • Tool & Equipment Operation: Properly use and maintain advanced diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and special service tools provided by the dealership.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working on Ford diesel vehicles; previous experience as a Senior Master Technician strongly preferred.

  • Certifications: Must hold current Ford Senior Master Technician certification and/or be Ford diesel certified (Power Stroke experience required).

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Ford diagnostic systems, diesel fuel injection, turbocharging systems, DEF/DPF systems, and high-voltage components.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; formal automotive training from a recognized program or OEM training preferred.

  • Problem Solving: Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; capable of resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues quickly and accurately.

  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with modern diagnostic software, OEM repair databases, and digital service documentation tools.

  • Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a passion for doing the job right the first time.

  • Licensing: Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
