Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required in a related field.
  • 5+ years in Master Data Management, PM, or governance.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM/MDM platforms (SAP, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of data governance and change management.
  • Proven track record leading global cross-functional projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Expertise in customer, supplier, product, and financial data domains.
  • English proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation initiatives to modernize master data management tools, processes, and practices.
  • Drive process optimization and automation opportunities across master data workflows.
  • Ensure master data readiness and alignment during ERP, CRM, and other large-scale system transformations.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies that drive adoption of new data processes and governance frameworks.
  • Manage high-impact master data projects, including scope definition, stakeholder alignment, and delivery execution.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide master data governance standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and implement improvements that increase data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Partner with business process owners to ensure governance frameworks support operational and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on best practices in master data management.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members while contributing to the long-term master data strategy of Novonesis.

As a Senior Master Data Specialist, you will be part of a team focused on ensuring that master data is governed, trusted, and aligned across the enterprise. The Role & Your Impact

As a strategic expert in Master Data Management (MDM), you will lead enterprise‑wide initiatives that modernize master data capabilities, strengthen governance frameworks, and enable business transformation. This is a highly collaborative role that combines strategic leadership, project management, change management, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

We imagine you bring:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Project Management, Data Governance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience working with ERP, CRM, and/or MDM platforms such as SAP or Salesforce.
  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and change management methodologies.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and coordinating cross‑functional teams in global organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision‑making across organizational levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of master data domains, including customer, supplier, product, and financial data.
  • Analytical problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into effective data solutions.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary - $100,000-$120,000 based on experience
  • 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
