Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data-related field.
• 5+ years in Master Data Management, governance, or related work.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance and change initiatives.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, and controls.
• Strong compliance, security, and audit-readiness understanding.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear policies and training.

Responsibilities

• Translate data strategies into practical governance standards and roadmaps.
• Lead Data Governance Council activities and report performance.
• Develop and enforce enterprise data standards, definitions, and rules.
• Manage end-to-end Master Data lifecycle with approvals and change control.
• Oversee governance across customer, vendor, material, pricing, and financial data.
• Establish data quality standards, dashboards, and remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards across functions to clarify responsibilities.
• Partner with IT and SAP teams on configurations, automation, and testing.
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, security, and audit requirements.
• Create training materials to promote data governance adoption.
• Define KPIs and monitor data quality, cycle times, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in governance processes.
