Job summary

Ace Handyman Services Columbus Group is seeking a Master Craftsman/Carpenter to lead complex residential projects on-site in Columbus, OH. This role requires hands-on mastery across carpentry, drywall, tile, plumbing, electrical, painting and flooring with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

You will manage projects from start to finish, coach teammates, and coordinate with office staff to keep work flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
10+ years of hands-on multi-trade experience.
Strong experience in: Drywall, Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, Tile/Flooring.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
Own professional-grade hand and power tools.
Strong math and measuring skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Comfortable working at heights up to 32 feet or higher.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced remodels, repairs, and installations across multiple trades.
Assess customer needs and develop project plans, estimates, and timelines.
Independently manage projects from start to finish on-site.
Coordinate workflow and mentor other craftsmen.
Maintain safe, organized job sites and track progress.
Provide professional customer communication and ensure high-quality workmanship.
