Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. in Rochester Hills is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicles. You will focus on accurate diagnostics and quality repairs, with a clear path for growth from A-Level to Lead Technician or technical manager as the shop expands.

The role offers competitive pay, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, PTO, paid holidays, and employer-paid health benefits. ASE testing and certifications are paid for by the shop, with a signing/retention bonus up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level or Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and own tools.
• ASE certifications preferred, but proven ability matters more.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose advanced vehicle issues and perform electrical troubleshooting.
• Address drivability concerns.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace transmissions.
• Diagnose engines and perform major mechanical repairs.
• Handle complex repairs beyond other technicians' capabilities.
• Perform general A-level automotive repair when needed.
