Job summary

ABD Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator / Project Manager with strong masonry construction experience in Phoenix, MD. The role requires 5-7+ years of estimating and project management, focusing on masonry repair, restoration, brick, block, stone, or specialty masonry.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, preparing bids, managing projects from planning through closeout, and coordinating with clients, architects, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of construction estimating and project management experience.
• Proven experience bidding and managing construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of masonry construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents.
• Strong estimating, takeoff, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed material takeoffs.
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, overhead, and project costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare competitive bids and proposals.
• Manage awarded projects from planning through closeout.
• Develop project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
• Manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, quality, and safety.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
