Boston Beer Company is looking for a Full-Time Sr. Strategic Sourcing Lead, Marketing, to drive category management and strategic sourcing in a hybrid Boston, MA role.

You will partner with stakeholders and suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and risk, delivering innovative sourcing strategies for marketing categories. The role demands strong negotiation, data analysis, and leadership of sourcing events, with travel as needed and extended hours during critical periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience leading sourcing strategies, negotiations, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills and spend analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category management and sourcing strategies.
• Analyze industry trends and supply markets to identify risks.
• Lead sourcing events (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) and contract negotiations to optimize TCO.
• Build supplier relationships with KPI/SLA tracking.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and implement sourcing initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance and drive cost/quality/service improvements.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management and amendments.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve procurement systems.
• Track, report, and validate cost savings and opportunities.
• Occasional travel and extended hours during critical periods.
