Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise to design, build, and operate platforms supporting NVIDIA Marketing. You will own scalable backend services, distributed systems, and data integrations for customer profiles, consent, personalization, and campaign operations.

This hands-on role requires leadership in architecture, deployment, and production operations, with collaboration across product, design, and marketing to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of production backend services.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architecture, including service decomposition, concurrency, consistency, asynchronous processing, caching, fault tolerance, and resilience.
• Strong backend development skills in Java with Spring Boot, including API development, authentication, authorization, and service-to-service integration.
• Solid database knowledge: SQL, relational and NoSQL data modeling, indexing, transactions, schema migrations, and performance tuning.
• Experience operating production services on cloud infrastructure, using containers, automated testing, Git, CI/CD, observability, and debugging to maintain reliability and performance.
• Frontend development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Angular, including component building and API integration.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and end-to-end ownership: turning ambiguous requirements into architecture and delivery plans, mentoring engineers.
• Enthusiasm for AI-based applications and ability to contribute to AI feature development.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and operate scalable backend services and distributed systems for customer profiles, consent, personalization, and campaign operations.
• Build APIs, service boundaries, data models, and event-driven workflows with clear tradeoffs across performance and consistency.
• Develop data integrations using relational and NoSQL databases, messaging, caching, and search with focus on data integrity and recovery.
• Develop responsive UI components and integrate them with platform APIs for data exploration and marketing workflows.
• Lead architecture decisions, align partner teams on interfaces, and mentor engineers through reviews.
• Own production readiness: automated testing, CI/CD, deployments, observability, security, and capacity planning.
• Gain specialized knowledge in applied AI and support development of AI-enabled features and agents.
