Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in data engineering or equivalent.
• End-to-end ownership of multi-pipeline data domains or complex cross-team initiatives.
• Proficiency in Python and Java or Golang with strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on with Spark and cloud ETL services; workflow tools like Airflow.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data lakes, and Iceberg-based architectures.
• Strong data governance, privacy, and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Own a key data domain for Digital Marketing Operations and shape its architecture.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, marketing, and operations.
• Architect and evolve batch and streaming pipelines at scale; ensure quality.
• Build and evolve data quality frameworks and engineering standards.
• Lead production incident investigations and drive preventive improvements.
• Embed privacy and compliance by design across the data platform.
• Establish robust data models and serving interfaces for accessible analytics.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews and mentorship.
