About The Role
COPA STC is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead all marketing efforts and shape the voice of the brand across every channel. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where the right candidate will serve as a one-person marketing powerhouse—driving strategy, executing campaigns, and delivering results.
This is a rare opportunity to truly take the reins of an emerging brand with a story worth telling. As the sole marketing leader, you won’t just manage campaigns—you’ll own the narrative, call the shots, and shape how the world sees COPA STC. From social storytelling to data-driven campaigns, SEO optimization to on-site content creation—you’ll be at the helm of all marketing efforts to ensure that COPA STC’s programs, events, and culture are visible, compelling, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow all COPA STC social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), maintaining a voice that aligns with both our mission and our community.
- Launch and oversee COPA East Bay, capturing the everyday energy of our facility—highlighting athletes, staff, events, and the vibrant community inside our walls.
- Own end-to-end marketing for all programs and events: planning, execution, copywriting, visual assets, and performance analysis across email, social, web, and print.
- Own and manage COPA STC’s HubSpot platform, ensuring clean data management, campaign tracking, segmented communications, and marketing automation that drives engagement and conversions.
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy to increase organic visibility; monitor keyword performance, on-page optimization, and backlink development.
- Track, report, and optimize website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking platforms.
- Create and implement targeted email campaigns and newsletters that align with business goals and key seasonal moments.
- Produce high-quality photo, video, and written content in real-time during training, competitions, and community events.
- Manage website content and updates, ensuring timely promotion of offerings and a consistent user experience.
- Build marketing calendars aligned with internal goals, coordinating with coaching, events, membership, and leadership teams.
- Monitor social and digital trends, innovating proactively to keep COPA STC ahead of the curve.
Who You Are
- A hands-on, high-capacity marketing generalist who thrives on wearing many hats.
- Comfortable being 100% responsible for all marketing outcomes—this role is yours to own.
- Passionate about storytelling, branding, and connecting with diverse audiences.
- Analytical and creative—you use data to inform decisions and creativity to captivate.
- Tech-savvy and experienced with CMS, analytics platforms, and content creation tools.
- Energized by live environments and flexible to work nights/weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of owning and scaling campaigns (sports or youth-focused experience a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of SEO, web performance tracking, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms.
- Proficiency with design and editing tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut, etc.).
- Skilled in both short-form and long-form content creation.
- Comfortable with front-end website editing and performance optimization.
