Job description

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing for the Energy Infrastructure business. This individual will build and execute the marketing strategy supporting Delta's growth across energy storage, solar, microgrids, power conversion, and related infrastructure solutions. The role will operate as a hands-on senior marketing leader, partnering closely with Business Leadership, Sales, Product, Engineering, Corporate Marketing, and external partners.

The ideal candidate is a marketing builder who has successfully developed plans, processes, positioning, campaigns, and measurement systems in a startup, high-growth company, new business unit, or market-entry environment. This role serves as the marketing lead and operates as a senior individual contributor. Prior energy-industry marketing experience is not required; demonstrated senior-level B2B marketing leadership and the ability to translate complex offerings into clear customer value are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the integrated marketing strategy and annual plan for the Energy Infrastructure business, aligning priorities, budgets, and performance measures with business and revenue goals.
  • Build the marketing foundation for the business, including customer segmentation, buyer personas, positioning, message architecture, campaign planning, content calendars, lead processes, and reporting rhythms.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Business Leadership to translate technical capabilities and market needs into compelling value propositions and go-to-market programs.
  • Lead product launches, market-entry initiatives, customer campaigns, account-based marketing, and demand-generation programs that strengthen awareness and produce qualified opportunities.
  • Create and maintain sales-enablement and customer-facing materials, including presentations, solution briefs, case studies, white papers, proposal content, executive communications, and digital assets.
  • Direct digital marketing across web, email, social media, paid media, webinars, and other channels while ensuring consistency with Delta's global brand standards.
  • Plan and execute industry events, conferences, trade shows, customer forums, partner programs, executive roundtables, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Establish an actionable market-intelligence process covering customer needs, competitive positioning, industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Operations to strengthen CRM discipline, lead routing, campaign tracking, pipeline visibility, attribution, and closed-loop reporting.
  • Define and report meaningful marketing KPIs, including engagement, lead quality, pipeline contribution, campaign performance, conversion, and return on marketing investment.
  • Manage external agencies, contractors, research partners, media relationships, and other vendors; provide clear direction, quality control, and budget oversight.
  • Serve as a player-coach who can personally produce high-quality work while helping build the longer-term marketing organization, processes, and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including experience operating at a senior, lead, or strategic level.
  • Demonstrated success building a marketing strategy, function, or operating model within a startup, high-growth organization, new business unit, or new market.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing plans that connect brand, content, demand generation, digital channels, events, product marketing, and sales enablement.
  • Ability to simplify technical, operational, or commercial concepts into clear, persuasive messaging for customers, partners, and executive audiences.
  • Strong business judgment and experience working cross-functionally with senior leadership, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, campaigns, stakeholders, and external partners in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
  • Strong writing, presentation, project-management, analytical, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM, marketing-automation, analytics, and campaign-reporting tools to support pipeline visibility and performance measurement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience marketing B2B technology, industrial equipment, infrastructure, manufacturing, power, energy, clean technology, data-center, or other complex solutions.
  • Product-marketing or go-to-market experience supporting technically complex products with long sales cycles and multiple decision makers.
  • Experience with Salesforce and marketing platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing agencies, marketing budgets, events, public relations, executive communications, and thought-leadership programs.
  • Familiarity with energy storage, BESS, solar, microgrids, power electronics, utility markets, or related infrastructure ecosystems.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
