Job description

Wish You Were Here Group is a dynamic and growing hospitality company creating some of the most exciting restaurant, nightlife, and lifestyle destinations across the United States.

Our portfolio includes celebrated concepts such as Élephante, Belles Beach House, Kassi, Little Ruby's, Dudley's, and more. Each brand has its own distinct identity, but all share our commitment to exceptional hospitality, thoughtful design, memorable experiences, and creating places people genuinely want to be.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for an ambitious and creatively driven Senior Marketing Manager to help shape the next chapter of our brands in Los Angeles.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives across our Los Angeles portfolio.

This is a hands-on, highly visible role for someone who understands the intersection of hospitality, culture, creativity, and commerce. You'll be responsible for translating brand strategy into compelling campaigns, memorable experiences, and measurable business results.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a creative campaign, building meaningful relationships with local tastemakers, collaborating with restaurant leadership, and analyzing marketing performance.

You'll work closely with our national marketing team, creative partners, and local operations teams to strengthen brand positioning, increase awareness, drive guest engagement, and ultimately grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Creative Marketing
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans tailored to each Los Angeles venue, ensuring alignment with individual brand identities and broader company objectives.
  • Conceptualize and deliver creative campaigns, collaborations, activations, and promotional initiatives that generate meaningful cultural relevance and commercial impact.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging hospitality trends, and evolving consumer behaviors.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams, photographers, content creators, and external partners to deliver elevated, brand-consistent marketing materials.
Local Marketing & Partnerships
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with relevant brands, cultural organizations, influencers, tastemakers, and community partners.
  • Identify opportunities for high-impact collaborations, brand partnerships, and experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Develop innovative local marketing strategies to drive both new guest acquisition and repeat visitation.
  • Lead marketing support for seasonal programming, special events, new initiatives, and venue launches.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Partner with the digital marketing team to develop compelling social media, content, paid media, and digital campaign strategies.
  • Oversee local content opportunities, ensuring each venue has a consistent pipeline of engaging, high-quality creative assets.
  • Monitor digital marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach, reservations, and guest conversion.
  • Ensure digital communications consistently reflect each brand's voice, aesthetic, and positioning.
Commercial Performance & Revenue Growth
  • Work closely with venue leadership to identify revenue opportunities across reservations, private dining, events, and key trading periods.
  • Develop targeted campaigns and initiatives that drive measurable increases in foot traffic, covers, and revenue.
  • Establish clear KPIs and regularly evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage local marketing budgets with a focus on efficiency, accountability, and commercial outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
  • Serve as the key marketing partner to Los Angeles venue management teams.
  • Collaborate with national marketing leadership to ensure effective execution of group-wide strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of organization, communication, and execution.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget.
About You

We're looking for someone with strong creative instincts, exceptional execution skills, and genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality and lifestyle space.

What You'll Bring
  • 5-7+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within premium hospitality, restaurants, nightlife, lifestyle, luxury, or consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns.
  • A strong understanding of the Los Angeles hospitality, cultural, and lifestyle landscape.
  • Excellent creative judgment and a refined eye for branding, design, content, and storytelling.
  • Proven ability to translate marketing activity into tangible commercial results.
  • Experience managing external agencies, creative partners, brand collaborations, and marketing budgets.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
