Job summary

ModMed in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Event Specialist to lead strategic planning, execution, and optimization of trade shows and customer conferences.

You will drive budgets, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business impact through events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required and minimum five years of corporate events experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale events and managing substantial budgets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, executive events, and strategic programs.
  • Develop event strategies aligned with goals, revenue, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Manage complex event portfolios with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and teams.
  • Serve as event lead for marquee events and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with venues and suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, attendee experience, and ROI.
  • Document best practices, processes, and SOPs.
  • Partner with leadership, sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams to define objectives.
  • Present strategies, budgets, and post-event analyses to leadership.
  • Manage associations and strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze performance metrics, attendee feedback, lead generation, and business impact.
