Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager, Events to own our national and regional event portfolio from strategy through showtime. You will connect Marketing, Sales, and agency partners to drive high-impact event programs and lead growth through strategic activations.

You will manage budgets, negotiate with venues and vendors, and deliver measurable ROI while traveling domestically to 10–12 events per year. Remote-first with strong emphasis on performance and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation, including ownership of national-scale events.
• Managed six-figure event budgets with vendor negotiation, contract management, and financial reporting.
• Directed external agencies to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder events.
• Cross-functional leader who aligns stakeholders and drives results without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Shape Edmentum’s national event strategy end to end, from choosing events to delivering flagship conferences.
• Empower regional sales teams with scalable playbooks, toolkits, and standards for local activations.
• Own the events budget, negotiate with venues, vendors, and our agency, and build ROI narratives for future investments.
• Rally Creative, Content, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, and Operations for cohesive event delivery.
• Turn events into growth by ensuring fast, high-quality lead handoff to Sales and codifying learnings into playbooks.
• Expand Edmentum’s event presence by collaborating with strategic partners to bring the brand to life.
• Tell the performance story by reporting ROI to leadership and shaping next year’s strategy.
