Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York seeks a Market Risk Vice President within the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Corporate Risk to partner with portfolio managers and ensure the market risk profile is understood by senior leadership.

You will develop fixed income expertise, deliver analytics for pre-trade reviews, monitor exposures, and strengthen governance through reporting and disciplined escalation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in risk management concepts.
• 5+ years of applied risk management experience.
• Experience in fixed income or securitized products.
• Knowledge of VaR, stress testing, governance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop fixed income market expertise and analytics for pre-trade reviews.
• Monitor daily market risk positions for exposures and concentrations.
• Synthesize macroeconomic research into portfolio reports and projections.
• Present risk changes and top risks to senior risk management.
• Coordinate updates to market risk models and methodologies.
• Collaborate with quantitative research to improve transparency and reporting outputs.
• Drive process and technology improvements across risk workflows.
• Coordinate with other risk groups to uphold governance and standards.
• Respond promptly to urgent ad-hoc risk requests.
