Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Market Risk Vice President in the Chief Investment Office to partner with portfolio managers, deliver analytics for pre-trade reviews, and strengthen risk transparency. You will monitor exposures, lead model reviews, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include improving risk reporting, coordinating with quantitative teams, and driving governance across risk functions. A strong background in fixed income and Bloomberg is required.

Qualifications

• Formal training in risk management concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
• Experience in risk management and fixed income or securitized products
• Understanding of fixed income markets with focus on rates and FX
• Knowledge of risk monitoring governance, VaR, stress testing and risk reporting
• Strong proficiency with Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg; able to learn risk systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Develop fixed income market and portfolio analytics for pre-trade reviews and limits
• Monitor daily risk positions and escalate material exposures
• Synthesize macroeconomic research into portfolio strategy reports
• Present risk changes and deep-dive analyses to senior management
• Evaluate updates to market risk models and methodology
• Collaborate with quantitative research to improve transparency and reporting
• Drive risk workflow improvements for efficiency and scalability
• Partner with other risk groups to align standards and practices
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from senior risk management
