The role interfaces with external asset managers, supports investment committees, and collaborates with portfolio managers to ensure alignment with platform objectives.

Strong writing, presentation skills, and a foundation in fixed income are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in asset or wealth management, credit research, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge or interest in fixed income markets.
• Superior writing and presentation skills for committee-level work.
• Critical thinking, skepticism, and ability to distinguish alpha from beta.
• Strong interpersonal skills to represent Private Bank externally.
• Quantitative ability to translate data into investment conclusions.
• Series 7 and 63 or willingness to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Research, select, and monitor fixed income investment managers with emphasis on process, team, philosophy, and performance.
• Present recommendations to investment committees and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct manager due diligence meetings and prepare focused agendas and memos.
• Source new opportunities and assess complements/overlaps with existing allocations.
• Partner with PMs, portfolio strategy, and asset class leaders to align with platform objectives.
• Communicate investment processes clearly to stakeholders and managers.
