Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, based in New York City, seeks a Manager/Senior Manager, Market Research to lead strategic market research initiatives for key CNS products. You will guide primary research, data analytics, and competitive intelligence, partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs to shape commercialization strategies.

The role requires on-site presence at least three days per week and collaboration with the commercial leadership team to plan, budget, and execute research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (MBA or related advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech market research or related commercial leadership experience.
• 4+ years of qualitative and/or quantitative market research experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• On-site role: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; no fully remote options.

Responsibilities

• Turn business issues into actionable market research plans and deliverables.
• Design and conduct complex market research programs end-to-end.
• Provide key learnings and strategic recommendations aligned with business goals.
• Translate data into actionable insights across the CNS portfolio.
• Provide thought leadership and expertise in market research methodologies.
• Prioritize resources to address critical business questions and decisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Leadership.
• Explore alternative methods to capture customer voice across HCPs, patients, and payers.
• Manage relationships with insights vendors and ensure project quality within budget.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate insight generation.
