Capital One is seeking a curious Principal Associate, Market Research to join the Intelligence team within Global Enterprise Affairs. You will lead primary research studies, design questionnaires, and manage vendor relationships to turn data into strategic insights across financial services and public policy topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 3+ years managing relationships with online sample providers and survey platforms.
• 3+ years in marketing research or consumer insights on vendor or corporate side.
• 3+ years executing projects using survey tools and syndicated market research sources.
• 2+ years in Microsoft Excel.
• 2+ years in market research methodologies such as persona segmentation, message testing, and brand health tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and partner with external research vendors and oversee the full life-cycle of a research project.
• Execute primary research studies using online surveys, focus groups, segmentation to answer business questions.
• Develop questionnaires, screeners and sample plans aligned with study objectives.
• Deliver high quality datasets by overseeing QA checks across the research life-cycle.
• Leverage vendors and work with data analysts to analyze, interpret and translate findings into insights.
• Translate findings into clear, concise reports and visually compelling outputs.
• Integrate primary research, secondary sources, and marketplace intelligence to tell holistic stories.
