Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking Market Quality (MQ) engineers in Ohio to coordinate activities toward department targets and implement countermeasures.

This role focuses on warranty data analysis, root-cause investigation, and cross-functional collaboration with design, service, and suppliers. Responsibilities include leading investigations, developing solutions, and mentoring junior teammates while traveling locally to plants and dealerships within North America as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, electrical technology, mechanical engineering or relevant and strongly-related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience based on education; any degree requires 8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to technically investigate, derive conclusions from observations/data and analytically approach problem cause phenomena.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to support meeting department performance measures and countermeasure implementation.
• Analyze failed warranty parts and identify causes; lead investigations and develop countermeasures.
• Document, report, and present summaries to quality management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers, design and service to lead problem investigation and resolution.
• Mentor entry level associates and new group members to develop Honda knowledge.
