PJM Interconnection is seeking a Market Design Specialist to support design enhancements across PJM markets. You will design, analyze, and optimize market structures and rules to ensure reliability, sustainability, and efficiency in the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Business, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience as Engineer/Analyst.
• Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.
• PJM is not STEM OPT eligible. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Responsabilités

• Market Analysis and Research: analyze electricity market trends and PJM rules to identify opportunities.
• Market Design and Analysis: perform independent complex studies and develop market design concepts.
• Stakeholder and Regulatory Engagement: present ideas to internal and external stakeholders and draft revisions to governing documents.
• Project Management: lead complex market design initiatives and drive cross-functional teams to consensus.
