Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering building low-latency systems.
• Hands-on experience with market data infrastructure areas like feed handlers, normalization, or distribution.
• Proficiency in low-latency Java or C++, with exposure to high-throughput messaging frameworks.
• Familiarity with market data protocols such as FIX, ITCH/OUCH, multicast.
• Proven track record shipping features end-to-end and operating in production.
• Ability to apply AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain market data components including feed handlers, normalization pipelines, distribution systems, and venue connectivity.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput services for real-time market data used by trading systems.
• Improve reliability and performance through observability, on-call participation, and incident response.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver market data capabilities for the institutional roadmap.
