Coinbase is seeking a Senior Data Engineer, Market Data on the Institutional Markets team. You will build and operate feed handlers, normalization, and distribution layers for real-time market data with low latency across Coinbase’s trading platform.

You’ll implement high-throughput services, improve observability, and work with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to enable the institutional trading roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience building low-latency systems.
• Experience with market data infrastructure and routing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain market data components including feed handlers and distribution systems.
• Design low-latency, high-throughput services for real-time market data.
• Improve reliability through observability and incident response.
