Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Maritime Technology Senior Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA to lead CONOPs, requirements development, and milestone planning for advanced maritime tech programs. You will coordinate with government officers, program leads, and performers to ensure successful development and deployment of new capabilities.

The role requires a minimum of nine years in technical PM and systems engineering for DoD/IC, with strong experience in S&T/R&D PM and a TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• 9+ years of technical project management and systems engineering for DoD/IC programs; 5+ years in S&T/R&D PM.
• Experience with unmanned undersea vehicles, robotics, underwater acoustics, GPS-denied navigation, or related tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering and PM tasks including CONOPs, requirements, and milestones.
• Coordinate with government officers and senior stakeholders to align roadmaps and actions.
• Review technical proposals and report findings to program leads; track tasks and decisions.
