The position is remote within the United States, with occasional in-office activities and travel up to 10%. A Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in Marine underwriting is required, along with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.

• Experience with risk assessment and underwriting processes.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain profitable marine insurance book within targets.
• Assess and evaluate risk; underwrite policies and guide clients.
• Negotiate terms with brokers and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Mentor junior underwriters and enforce underwriting standards.
• Prepare accurate policy documentation and provide risk management advice.
