Are you a proud Marine Underwriter seeking a more remote working setup? Do you prefer the agility of working for an established MGA over a less dynamic corporate insurer?
This senior opportunity allows you to work closely with an experienced, engaging Marine Underwriting Leader. Once onboard, you'll have access to in-house program capacity to underwrite and manage accounts with your dedicated panel of agents and brokers.
Your role will be diverse, including building relationships with the MGA's larger broker network to handle larger, more lucrative risks requiring additional capacity and market options.
You will leverage your experience and negotiation skills to provide solutions for your agents and clients. You'll be part of an MGA with its own in-house claims team, working collaboratively on cases, leading from the front, guiding teammates, and selecting the most appropriate products while meeting new business and renewal targets.
