Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction is a specialty underwater and marine contractor delivering complex solutions across power, water, transportation, and environmental markets. We are seeking a Sr Proposal Coordinator to lead the development of high-quality proposals, coordinating Estimating, Operations, BD, Marketing and regional teams to win complex bids.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in proposal coordination or similar within AEC.
• Experience coordinating with technical teams from kickoff to submission.
• Experience with marine or heavy civil pursuits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and production of qualifications, bids, and technical proposals from kickoff through final submission.
• Review solicitation requirements, develop compliance matrices, establish proposal schedules, and coordinate all deliverables.
• Gather information from technical teams and translate it into clear, accurate content.
• Write, edit, and maintain non-technical content including project descriptions and resumes.
• Coordinate graphics, layout, and document design to strengthen clarity and presentation.
• Manage subconsultant qualifications, supporting documentation, trackers, and compliance.
• Prepare presentation materials and support interview planning and production.
• Perform final quality control, production, packaging, and delivery of proposals.
• Maintain proposal templates, style guides, data platforms, and SharePoint content.
• Identify process improvements, including AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Support development of proposal standards across Ballard.
