Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Machinist in a shipyard.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to pass Drug Screening and Work Ability Screening.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and overhaul shipboard mechanical equipment.
• Read blueprints and WAFs to guide work.
• Use precision instruments to verify dimensions and alignments.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools.
• Provide guidance and training to junior craftsmen.
