Job summary

A leading energy solutions company seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee the technical management of the vessel and its systems. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to safety regulations, train and motivate the engineering crew, and maintain machinery logs and certification. This role requires at least 3 years of experience as Chief Engineer or 1st Engineer on a DP vessel, proficiency in English, and relevant qualifications. This opportunity is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Chief Engineer or 1st Engineer on a DP vessel.
• Experience on relevant vessel type (construction/pipelay/MODU) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of the vessel and equipment.
• Enforce company policies and client requirements for safety.
• Train engineering crew and keep them motivated.
• Maintain certification and inspection records up-to-date.
• Coordinate with Master for safety measures and work permits.

Qualified in accordance with STCW 95 Regulation III/2
