Job summary

SA-TECH, a DoD contractor, is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance III for NBPL in San Diego. You will maintain onboard electronic equipment, install systems, and manage WAN/LAN networks, radios, and encryption devices on RSC vessels.

The role requires a high school diploma or trade training, with knowledge of marine navigation electronics, RADAR, and NMEA networking. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited trade school, applicable military service or proven performance.
• Knowledge of military operations desirable.
• Understanding of circuits, waveforms, signal flow; use of industry test instruments.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
• Must maintain Windows and Linux familiarity; proficiency in Office products.
• Must be able to move objects weighing 50 lbs. frequently.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install marine systems and specialized equipment with minimal supervision.
• Operate and maintain WAN/LAN, radios, and encryption devices.
• Manufacture, repair, and install cables and connectors.
• Apply technical knowledge to interpret manuals and schematics.
