Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from an accredited trade school, military service or proven performance gained through experience.
• Knowledge of military operations is highly desirable.
• Understand circuits, analyze, and trace signal flow with industry test instruments.
• Work well in a dynamic, small team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Linux environments; MS Office.
• Ability to move objects weighing 50 lbs frequently.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on shipboard and ground electronics.
• Install commercial off the shelf marine systems and specialized systems with no supervision.
• Operate and maintain WAN/LAN network equipment, HF/UHF/VHF radios, and encryption devices.
• Manufacture, repair, and install coaxial and electrical/data cables and connectors.
• Apply technical knowledge to interpret manuals, schematics, and other documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
