Job summary

HII Platform Modernization (PM) trades teams seek a Senior Marine Electronics Technician to support shipboard alterations and installations for fleet modernization. You will work closely with skilled trades teams on Naval Vessels, removing, installing and upgrading industrial systems and equipment.

Weekend and/or overtime hours may be required; travel to shipyards and bases around the Hampton Roads area, and potentially nationwide or abroad when not assigned locally, is possible.

Job Description

HII Platform Modernization (PM) trades teams provide expert solutions on shipboard alterations and installations for fleet modernization. The selected Senior Marine Electronics Technician candidate will support PM, working closely with our skilled trades teams, on Naval Vessels, utilizing various tools of the trades, removing, installing and upgrading industrial systems and equipment. Weekend and/or overtime hours required depending on contract awards and support required as per trade/skill set. Selected candidates will be required to commute to and maintain access to shipyards and military bases located around the Hampton Roads area depending on contract obligations. Selected candidates may be required to travel to shipyards and military bases located around the country and abroad when not assigned to a local task. Per Diem provided based on location when on travel. Travel and lodging expenses are covered by the company.
