Job summary

CTR Group in Seattle seeks a Journeyman Marine Electrician Lead / Project Engineer to lead and execute electrical upgrades aboard commercial vessels and floating structures, from RFQ to final install and testing. The role requires delivering quality work on tight schedules while serving as Electrician of Record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, maintaining and operating electrical equipment aboard commercial ships.
• Shipyard experience and OSHA safety standards knowledge.
• Ability to interpret schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Proficient with 480VAC 3-phase distribution systems and motor circuits.
• Familiarity with load calculations and Ohm's Law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute upgrade projects on marine electrical systems.
• Serve as Electrician of Record for RFQ through installation and testing.
• Deliver work to client specifications within tight timelines.
• Work on vessel shore power, VFDs and switchboards on-site.
