Job summary

CTR Group is seeking an experienced electrical technician to install, maintain, and operate electrical equipment on commercial ships. The role requires hands-on problem solving and field work. You will troubleshoot with test equipment, perform load calculations, and handle cable sizing while applying knowledge of motor controls and VFDs.

A valid driver’s license is required. This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $80,000 and $120,000 per year and benefits, with overtime

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with 480 VAC 3-phase distribution systems.
• Knowledge of motor controls and VFDs.

JOB DUTIES

• Installing, Maintaining and operating electrical equipment on commercial ships.
• Using test equipment to troubleshoot equipment.
