Job summary

Callan Marine Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in Galveston, TX to lead marine dredging projects from pre-construction through demobilization. You will coordinate crews, plan work and budgets, ensure safety, and manage client communications.

Responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, and ensuring contract compliance with State/Federal regulations. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise dredging and construction projects.
• Work under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager.
• Attend site visits.
• Review Plans/Specs and Contract Documents; discuss execution strategy with dredge supervisors.
• Plan projects (work plans, budgets, dredging strategy, schedules).
• Meet with clients to discuss goals, challenges, risks.
• Define project objectives and KPI’s; execute mobilization, work phase, teardown, demobilization.
• Uphold safety culture and company safety policies.
• Maintain internal and client reporting (logs, production, timekeeping, HR, invoicing, schedules).
• Production data acquisition, analysis, optimization, and efficiency.
• Conduct BD & AD surveys; verify dredge profile deliverables.
• Financial reporting, cost control, invoicing, and collections.
• Prepare weekly timesheets; manage logistics and consumables.
• Procure project consumables, rental equipment, shipping/receiving.
• Manage client and contract relationships; support sales activities.
• Contribute to Safety and Environmental initiatives for compliance.
