Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Mapping on the Autonomous Vehicles team in Santa Clara. You will design and implement map-based driving algorithms, integrate in-vehicle software, and advance data fusion with perception to improve localization and routing for self-driving vehicles.

The role emphasizes C++14+ coding, real-time embedded software, and transformer-based models for graphs.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Background in computer vision, 3D geometry and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and code assistants.
• Experience with real-time software on embedded/ automotive platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop algorithms for map-based driving products.
• Architect map provider health monitors and data fusion with perception.
• Develop in-vehicle code in C++14 or later and integrate into NVIDIA DRIVE stack.
• Experiment with transformer-based models for graphs and evaluate large-scale models.
• Build scalable map content analysis tooling in Python/JS/TS.
